Public Meeting Announced for Sugar Run Road Intersection in Greene County

Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's (PennDOT's) Engineering District 12, along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the community to participate in an open-house format public meeting to review and comment on the Sugar Run Road Intersection in Franklin Township, Greene County.

Representatives from PennDOT and the project team will be available to answer questions and take comments regarding the project. The public will have an opportunity to review project information including, but not limited to, preliminary design plans, anticipated traffic control during construction, and anticipated construction schedule for the project.

The public meeting will be held on the following date, time, and at the location listed below:

Location:        Franklin Township Municipal Building

                        568 Rolling Meadows Road

                        Waynesburg, PA 15370

The proposed project includes the construction of a single-lane roundabout at the Route 2003 (Sugar Run Road/Porter Street) and Route 2028 (Sugar Run Road) Intersection in Franklin Township, Greene County. The project will also include the replacement of the existing bridge that carries Route 2028 (Sugar Run Road) over Sugar Run with a pre-cast reinforced concrete box culvert.

The in-person public meeting location complies with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is accessible to individuals who have disabilities.
