Uniontown, PA – Greene County Maintenance Manager, Dale Baird, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of June 26, 2023. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting and operational basis.
During county maintenance work activities motorists should expect to encounter flaggers, single-lane restrictions, moving operations, and detours. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
Litter and debris removal is scheduled for:
- Interstate 79 in Perry, Whiteley, Franklin, and Washington Townships
Shoulder stabilization is scheduled for:
- Route 88 (Pt Marion/Carmichaels Rd) in Monongahela Township
Boom mowing is scheduled for:
- Route 4035 (Waterdam Road Rd) in Franklin Township
- Route 3014 (Bluff Ridge Road Rd) in Wayne Township
- Route 3013 (Oak Forest Road) in Wayne Township
Spray patching is scheduled for:
- Interstate 79 in Perry, Whiteley, Franklin, and Washington Townships
- Route 21 (Roy E Furman Highway) in Franklin, Cumberland, and Monongahela Townships
- Route 19 (Mt. Morris Road) in Perry and Whiteley Townships
- Various state routes throughout the county as needed
Bridge Replacement is scheduled for:
- Route 3011 (Hargus Creek Road) in Center Township
- Road Closed, detour is posted as follows: Route 3011 (Hargus Creek Road) to Route 3014 (Bluff Ridge Road) to Route 218 (Smith Creek Road) to Route 19 (E High Street) to Route 21 (W High Street/Main Street) to Route 18 (W Roy Furman Highway/Golden Oaks Road) to Route 3011 (Hargus Creek Road).
Slide repair is scheduled for:
- Route 3002 (Rock Camp Road) in Springhill Township. One Lane Restriction.
Minor drainage improvements are scheduled for:
- Various state routes throughout the county
Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.
Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the County.
