Uniontown, PA – Fayette County Maintenance Manager, Jason L. Spangler, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of August 7, 2023. All maintenance activities are conducted depending on weather and operations.
During county maintenance work activities motorists should expect to encounter flaggers, single-lane restrictions, moving operations, and detours. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
Bridge replacement is scheduled for:

Route 4001 (Rush Run Road) in Luzerne Township.
Base repair is scheduled for:
-
Route 0982 (Pleasant Valley Road) in Bullskin Township;
-
Route 1044 (Oremine Hill Road) in Bullskin Township; and
-
Route 1056 (Kreinbrook Hill Road) in Bullskin Township.
Pipe flushing is scheduled for:

Route 0381 (Elliotsville Road) in Wharton Township; and
-
Route 2002 (Kirby Road) in Wharton Township.
Shoulder cutting is scheduled for:

Route 2021 (Jumonville Road) in North Union Township; and
-
Route 1055 (Dunbar Ohiopyle Road) in Dunbar and Stewart townships.
Boom mowing is scheduled for:

Route 3004 (Wymps Gap Road) in Springhill Township.
Brushing is scheduled for:

Route 4020 (Labelle Road) in Luzerne Township; and

Route 1047 (Little Summit Road) in Dunbar Township.
Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.
Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
