PennDOT Announces Virtual Plans Display for Route 4057 Bridge Replacement Project in Washington County

​Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 12 invites the public to participate in a Virtual Plans Display for the Route 4057 (Reed Road) Bridge Replacement Project in Buffalo and Hopewell Townships, Washington County.

The scope of work is the replacement of the bridge that carries Route 4057 (Reed Road) over Brush Run. Also included is the reconstruction and widening of pavement and new guide rail.

The virtual plans display includes project information, anticipated schedule, location map, and can be accessed on the PennDOT website beginning Tuesday, June 6, 2023, and will be available through Tuesday, June 20, 2023. 

 To access the webpage, visit the PennDOT District 12 website at http://www.penndot.pa.gov/District12, click on the Public Meetings/Studies link under the District Links heading, click on the Washington County box, and then select the Reed Road Bridge Project Tile.

The purpose of the online plans display is to introduce the project and receive public input regarding any questions or concerns with the project. It is also an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the project's potential effect upon Cultural Resources pursuant to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's 36 CFR Part 800 regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
