    PennDOT Accepting Applications for Winter Maintenance Season

    ​Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is currently accepting applications for its Winter Maintenance Season. There are opportunities for CDL Operators, Highway Maintenance Workers, Semi-Skilled Laborers, Tradesman Helpers, and Clerical Assistants in Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties.

    PennDOT offers many opportunities for those interested in temporary employment. Joining our team as a temporary employee has the potential for permanent employment with PennDOT. 

    96 Transportation Equipment Operator A (CDL required) Positions Available.

    • 30 in Fayette County

    • 16 in Greene County

    • 20 in Washington County

    • 30 in Westmoreland County

    38 Additional Non-CDL Winter Employment Opportunities Available:   

    • Highway Maintenance Worker

    • Semi-Skilled Laborer

    • Tradesman Helper

    • Clerical Assistant 1
