Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists that epoxy overlay preservation work is scheduled to begin next week in Westmoreland County, weather and operational dependent.
Nighttime single-lane restrictions will occur between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11 in the following location.

Route 66 (First Street/Oklahoma-Apollo Bridge) between Sheridan Road and McKinley Avenue and Kiski Avenue in Oklahoma Borough
Daytime single-lane restrictions will occur between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14 in the following location.

Route 4013 (20th Street) between Locust Street and Burrell Hill Road and Coal Street and Penn Avenue in Penn Township
The restrictions will be in place to allow crews to perform deck patching.
Traffic will be controlled with flaggers during operations. Please use caution while driving and be alert for workers in the work zone.
Crews from MEKIS Construction will be performing the work.
This work is part of a $2.08 million project that includes bridge preservation activities including a 3/8" epoxy-based surface treatment, minor bridge deck repairs, replacement of neoprene compression and strip seals, and other miscellaneous construction on 16 routes and 22 structures in Westmoreland County. The project is anticipated to be complete in October of 2023.
