Bruceton Road Lane Restrictions to Begin Next Week in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of single-lane restrictions on Bruceton Road from Route 281 to the West Virginia Line in Henry Clay Township, Fayette County.  The single-lane restrictions will occur Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM beginning Monday, May 22 through mid-August, weather and operational dependent.

The single-lane restrictions will be in place to allow crews to install new drainage structures, widen the road, mill and resurface the road. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone and allow extra travel time.

Crews from A. Folino Construction will be performing the work.

This work is part of a $3.5 million project involving the widening and resurfacing of Route 281 from approximately the township municipal line to the Pennsylvania and West Virginia state line. The project is anticipated to be completed in August 2023.
