Route 28 Single-lane Restrictions Thursday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing single-lane restrictions on Route 28 in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Thursday, June 26 weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 5 a.m. Thursday, a single-lane restriction will occur on northbound Route 28 just south of the I-279 North/East Ohio Street exit. Crews will conduct concrete barrier removal which was placed for pier repair work.

Once the northbound work is completed, a lane restriction will occur on southbound Route 28 between the ramp to the Veterans Bridge/Monroeville and Anderson Street. Crews will remove restrictions that are currently in place. Work is expected to conclude by 3 p.m. Thursday.
