Resurfacing Project Begins Tuesday on Route 119 in Rayne, North Mahoning, and East Mahoning Townships

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today Route 119 will be resurfaced August 19 through 26 between Home at the Route 85 intersection and the Behm Road/Marshal Road intersection near Marchand in Indiana County.

There will be a single-lane restriction with flaggers.  Work is weather permitting.

Contractor, Quaker Sales Corporation of Johnstown, PA, will be completing this $3.1 million project which will also include the addition of Americans with Disabilities (ADA) ramp replacements and additional work on Route 119, estimated to be completed by the end of October 2025.
