Pipe Replacement in Rural Valley Borough in Armstrong County Begins June 23

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is alerting motorists to a lane closure on Route 85 in Rural Valley Borough, Armstrong County.

June 23 through July 23, there will be single-lane closures with an 11-foot width restriction for the replacement of a pipe under Route 85. Work will be performed during daylight hours on weekdays and Saturdays as needed. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers.  Motorists should use caution and expect delays.

Derry Construction Co., Inc., of Latrobe is completing this $8.1 million project which also includes multiple paving projects, and it is all anticipated to be complete in early November.
