Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is alerting motorists to two paving projects in July on Route 56 in Kiskiminetas and South Bend townships, Armstrong County and Shelocta Borough, Indiana County.
July 7 through 21, milling and paving will occur on Route 56 between Balsiger Road and Lebanon Road. July 21 through August 4, crews will be working between Route 422 and the Indiana/Armstrong County line.
Work will be performed during daylight hours on weekdays and Saturdays as needed. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers. Motorists should use caution and expect delays.
Derry Construction Co., Inc., of Latrobe is completing this $8.1 million project which includes multiple paving projects, and it is all anticipated to be complete in early November.
