Green Valley Bridge Replacement Begins June 9 in Young and Armstrong Townships, Indiana County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a road closure for the replacement of the Green Valley Bridge on McIntyre Road in Indiana County.

McIntyre Road (Route 3031) will be closed June 9 through the end of July between the intersections of Old 56 (Route 3056) and Rearick Road (Route 3010) due to a bridge replacement.  To detour, starting at the bridge, travel south on McIntyre Road and turn left at the intersection of Rearick Road to stay on McIntyre Road. Turn right onto Park Road then turn right onto Blackleggs Road. Turn right turn onto Old Route 56 to complete the detour.

Contractor, Francis J. Palo, Inc., of Clarion, PA will be completing this $943,000 project anticipated to be completed in late November 2025.
