Route 422 Patching Begins August 18 in Clearfield and Summit Townships

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced upcoming patching on Route 422 in Clearfield and Summit townships in Butler County.

August 18 through September 12, single-lane restrictions will be in place along Route 422 eastbound between the intersections of Protzman Road and Mushroom Farm Road.  On Route 422 westbound, restrictions will be between the intersections of Mushroom Farm Road and Mitchell Hill Road.  The lane restriction locations will vary as work throughout the project area progresses.

Motorists should use caution in the area.

Contractor, IA Construction Corporation, Franklin, PA will be completing this $6.3 million project anticipated to be completed at the end of November 2025.
