King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving operations are planned on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Bucks counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Clay Creek Road/Northbank Road between Church Hill Road and Chesterville Road in Franklin and London Britain townships, Chester County.
- Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on North Creek Road between Glenloch Drive and Chesterville Road in Franklin Township, Chester County.
- Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Corby Road/Pennock Bridge Road between Route 896 (Newark Road) and Route 841 (Wickerton Road) in Franklin, New London, and Penn townships, Chester County.
- Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Old Kennett Road/Old Kennett Pike between Kaolin Road and the Delaware state line in Kennett Township.
- Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Broad Run Road between Good Hope Road and Newark Road in London Britain and New Garden townships, Chester County.
- Tuesday, April 8, through Friday, April 11, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Route 291 (4th Street/Industrial Highway/Governor Printz Boulevard) between Harrah’s Boulevard and Bartram Avenue in the City of Chester, Eddystone Borough, and Tinicum Township, Delaware County.
- Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road in Solebury Township, Bucks County. During the closure, motorist will be directed to use Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
