    Winslow Road Closure Begins for Ugly Run Bridge Replacement on June 9 in Jefferson County

    Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing the closure of Winslow Road (Route 2001) for the replacement of the Ugly run Bridge in Gaskill Township, Jefferson County.

    There will be a closure on Winslow Road (Route 2001) between Route 36 and Church Road. To detour, from the northern side of the closure, travel northwest on Winslow Road. Turn right onto Route 36 and continue for 3.1 miles. Turn right onto Hillman Road and travel for 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Bonner Road. Continue straight onto Winslow Road to the southern side of the closure.  From the southern side, travel southwest on Winslow Road. Continue straight on Winslow/Bonner Road. Turn left onto Hillman Road and continue for 3.3 miles. Turn left onto Route 36. Follow Route 36 for 3.1 miles. Turn left onto Winslow Road to reach the northern side of the closure.

    Contractor, Kukurin of Export, PA will be completing this $636,600 project anticipated to be completed in early October 2025.
