King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on two state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County:
- Monday, June 23, through Friday, August 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Lindenhurst Road will be closed weekdays between Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) and Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) in Lower Makefield and Newtown townships. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 332 (Newtown Bypass), Durham Road, and Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road).
Montgomery County:
- Monday, June 23, through Monday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, King Street will be closed weekdays between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Manatawny Street in Pottstown Borough. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use King Street, Berks Street, Route 663 (High Street), and Manatawny Street.
Local access will be maintained. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
