Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge replacement project is set to begin next week on Middle Road (Route 4005) in Fox Township, Sullivan County.
Starting Monday, June 2, 2025, Middle Road will be closed, in both directions, between the intersection of Ellenton Mountain Road (Route 4002) and Route 154 in Shunk to the north end of Middle Road, approximately three miles above Shunk. A Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will replace the bridge over Fall Run. Work on the project includes removal of the existing structure, installation of a new box culvert, paving, line painting, and guide rail installation.
