6/11/2025 UPDATE: Bridge flushing on Interstate 80 between the West Branch Susquehanna River in Northumberland County and the Interstate 80 Rest Area in Montour County at mile marker 219 will continue to 3:00 PM.
Traffic Impacts
- Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted in both directions between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
- Motorists can expect the left (passing) lane to be restricted in both directions between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions today and tomorrow on Interstate 180 and Interstate 80 in Northumberland County for bridge flushing.
On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing along Interstate 180 in both directions between Exit 1 (Watsontown / McEwensville) and the Lycoming County line.
On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the PennDOT maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing along Interstate 80 in both directions between the West Branch Susquehanna River to the Interstate 80 Rest Area in Montour County at mile marker 219.
Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting. Motorist should be alert, slow down, watch for slow moving or stopped vehicles, and drive with caution through the work zone.
