Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists that surface improvement work will take place in Fayette County through the end of September, weather and operational dependent.
Intermittent weekday daylight single-lane restrictions between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM will occur as needed at the following locations:
- Route 40 (National Pike) in North and South Union Townships
- Route 711 (Springfield Pike) in Connellsville Township and the City of Connellsville
- Route 381 (Indian Creek Valley Road) in Saltlick and Springfield Township
- Route 8025 (Ramp U from Route 43 to Morgantown Road) in Georges Township
Crews from Tresco Paving will be performing the work.
This work is part of a $4.9 million project for surface improvements on various locations in Fayette County. The project includes milling, base repair, patching, asphalt paving, tree trimming and pavement markings. The project is anticipated to be complete in September of 2023.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
