Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today a waterline relocation project beginning February 26 as part of the Franklin Road (Route 3021) Corridor Improvement project in Cranberry Township, Butler County.
Short-term traffic controls can be expected on February 26 between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM along Franklin Road between the Route 228 intersection and Peters Road. Motorists may experience delays and should use caution in the area. Waterline work will be intermittent through September 12.
Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, State College, PA will be completing this $19 million safety improvement project that includes shoulder widening, installation rumble strips, and sight distance improvements along Franklin Road (Route 3021). The project is estimated to be completed in November 2027.
