- Operates Continuous Emission Monitoring program.

Continuous Emission Monitoring Section
- Reviews quarterly data submissions.
- Generates periodic and special reports from CEM information.
- Performs on-site inspections of CEM equipment.
- Performs audit programs consisting of challenging analyzers with calibration gasses and overall system evaluations.
- Conducts phased approval system for design, installation, and testing of CEM systems.
Source Testing Section
- Performs emissions tests in response to requests by regional personnel or for audit purposes.
- Develops, implements, and oversees the oxygenated and Stage II fuels programs in the southeast region.
- Reviews consultant/company pre-test protocols and test report reviews.
- Develops, implements, and oversees the Department's Stage II vapor control system testing program in the Southeast Region.
- Evaluates new EPA testing/analytical procedures.
- Observes source tests conducted by consultants/companies.
