Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will hold a public meeting and hearing on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM to answer questions and accept testimony regarding its intent to issue an Air Quality Plan Approval to ETC Northeast Pipeline, LLC for its proposed Cryo 2 project located in Smith Township, Washington County.
The meeting and hearing will take place at the Burgettstown Area Middle/High School Campus, LGI Room, 100 Bavington Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
The permit review process will include enhanced public participation carried out by DEP’s Office of Environmental Justice to ensure that the public is informed and has the opportunity to be involved. The proposed project site is within an environmental justice area, as defined by DEP at the time of permit submittal.
DEP requests that individuals intending to testify submit a written notice of intent to Emily Green, Southwest Regional Coordinator, Office of Environmental Justice, at 412-442-4042 or via email to emgreen@pa.gov. DEP can only consider testimony made regarding the Proposed Air Quality Plan Approval, PA-63-01001B.
Individuals attending the meeting and hearing will have the opportunity to testify if they so desire; however, individuals who preregister to testify will be given priority on the agenda.
DEP requests that individuals limit their testimony to three (3) minutes so that all interested participants have an opportunity to testify. All comments, whether delivered orally during the hearing or submitted in writing, will carry equal weight and consideration.

Written testimony must include the commenter's name, address, and phone number and reference the ETC Rev Cryo Plan Approval (PA-63-01001B).
