PennDOT to Close Route 4008 in Franklin Township, Susquehanna County

Dunmore, PA – State Route 4008 (Silver Creek Road) in Franklin Township will close for bridge work from Monday, July 14, 2025, through August 2025. The detour is as follows:

Travelling Eastbound:

Turn left on Route 29 and continue 1.5 miles

Turn left on Route 4002 and continue 4.2 miles

Turn left on Route 4004 and continue 0.7 miles

Turn left on Township Road 780 and continue 2.6 miles back to Route 4008

Travelling Westbound:

Turn left on Route 167 and continue 6.4 miles

Turn left on Route 29 and continue 7 miles back to Route 4008
