    PennDOT to Close Route 4008 in Franklin Township, Susquehanna County

    Dunmore, PA – State Route 4008 (Silver Creek Road) in Franklin Township will close for bridge work from Monday, July 14, 2025, through August 2025. The detour is as follows:

    Travelling Eastbound:

    • Turn left on Route 29 and continue 1.5 miles

    • Turn left on Route 4002 and continue 4.2 miles

    • Turn left on Route 4004 and continue 0.7 miles

    • Turn left on Township Road 780 and continue 2.6 miles back to Route 4008

    Travelling Westbound:

    • Turn left on Route 167 and continue 6.4 miles

    • Turn left on Route 29 and continue 7 miles back to Route 4008
