Food safety affects everyone. By preventing food-borne illnesses, we can improve public health and avoid costly disruptions of the food supply system.

In Pennsylvania, the Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services works to maintain food safety from farm to fork. Our divisions educate the public, regulate businesses, and ensure compliance with food safety laws and regulations.
