King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will begin utility construction next week on Interstate 95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, January 25, and Thursday, January 26, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound and southbound I-95 between U.S. 13 (Chester Pike) and Stewart Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
