In addition to the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $310.9 million for the month. Fiscal year-to-date collections for the fund — which include the commonly known gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine and fee revenues — total $563.4 million.

August collection data does not include a comparison against anticipated amounts because the official estimate for the 2025-26 fiscal year has not been certified. The certification of the official estimate occurs as part of the process to finalize the budget for the fiscal year. After that occurs, the Department of Revenue generates monthly estimates that are compared against actual revenue collections.
