Harrisburg, PA — Pennsylvania collected $3.0 billion in General Fund revenue in November, Revenue Secretary Pat Browne reported today. Fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections total $16.5 billion.
Sales tax receipts totaled $1.2 billion for November. Year-to-date sales tax collections total $6.4 billion.
Personal income tax (PIT) revenue in November was $1.1 billion. This brings year-to-date PIT collections to $6.9 billion.
November corporation tax revenue was $168.2 million. Year-to-date corporation tax collections total $1.3 billion.
Inheritance tax revenue for the month was $126.8 million, bringing the year-to-date total to $728.6 million.
Realty transfer tax revenue was $56.5 million for November, bringing the fiscal-year total to $237.8 million.
Other General Fund tax revenue, including cigarette, malt beverage, liquor and gaming taxes, totaled $159.0 million for the month, bringing the year-to-date total to $665.4 million.
Non-tax revenue totaled $155.1 million for the month, bringing the year-to-date total to $333.7 million.
In addition to the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $257.6 million for the month. Fiscal year-to-date collections for the fund – which include the commonly known gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine and fee revenues – total $1.4 billion.
November collection data does not include a comparison against anticipated amounts because the official estimate for the 2025-26 fiscal year was certified on November 12, as part of the process to finalize the Commonwealth’s budget. The Department of Revenue will issue monthly distributions in its November Monthly Revenue Report. The next press release on December revenue collections will include a comparison against anticipated amounts.
