Stop Sign to be Installed at the Intersection of Sheshequin Road and Bridge Street in Sheshequin Township, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a sign project that will take place in two weeks at the intersection of Route 1043 (Sheshequin Road) and Route 1022 (Bridge Street/Ghent Hill Road) in Sheshequin Township, Bradford County.

The week of August 14, 2023, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be installing a stop sign on the northbound and southbound lanes of Sheshequin Road, making this intersection a four-way stop. The new stop control is the result of a traffic and engineer study that was recently performed.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
