The SAA approves educational and training programs for Veterans, Eligible Dependents, and Reservists to utilize their G.I. Bill® benefits at Institutions of Higher Learning, Post-Secondary Schools, Flight Schools, Apprenticeships, and On-the-Job Training Programs under the provisions of Chapters 30, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36 of Title 38, United States Code, Chapters 1606 and 1607 of Title 10, United States Code.”

Honorary High School Diplomas for Veterans – Operation Recognition: Section 1611 of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949 gives boards of school directors the power to confer honorary academic degrees. The board may confer honorary degrees through the Operation Recognition program. Under Operation Recognition, the board of school directors may grant a high school diploma to any honorably discharged World War II, Korean War, or Vietnam War veteran who did not did not graduate from high school due to military service.
