The purpose of this announcement is to notify Preschool Early Intervention programs that announcement EI 10-07 Paraprofessional Qualifications is now obsolete.
Background
In 2010 the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) issued announcement EI 10-07 to clarify the qualification requirements for instructional paraprofessionals working in Preschool Early Intervention programs
Discussion
This Announcement serves as communication that announcement EI 10-07 Paraprofessional Qualifications is obsolete. This does not change the qualifications for instructional paraprofessionals or the staff development requirements as both are found in 22 Pa. Code § 14.105(a) Personnel.

Programs are required to follow the qualifications for instructional paraprofessionals and staff development found in 22 Pa. Code § 14.105(a) Personnel.
