Lane restrictions on NB and SB I-83 during inspections
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that inspections are planned for next week on the Hain Road (Route 2093) and Plank Road (Route 2074) bridges spanning Interstate 83 in Shrewsbury Township, York County. Lane restrictions will be in place on northbound and southbound I-83 while this work is performed.
Weather permitting, the inspection will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday, July 10, through Thursday, July 13. There will be lane restrictions in both directions of I-83 in the area of Mile Marker 4 to Mile Marker 6.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspectors.
