Lanes restrictions on I-81
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is planned next week for the Lockwillow Avenue (T-499) bridge spanning Interstate 81 just west of Exit 72 (Paxtonia/Linglestown) in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 3.
There will be alternating right and left lanes restrictions on northbound I-81 on Wednesday, and on southbound I-81 on Thursday.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
