King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction will take place on several state highways next week in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery counties, under projects to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.
The work schedules and locations are:
Bucks County
- Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) at the Aquetong Road Intersection in Solebury Township.
Chester County
- Monday, February 13, through Wednesday, February 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Foster Road between Bodine Road and Rapps Run Drive in Charlestown Township;
- Tuesday, February 14, through Thursday, February 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on St. Peters Road between Harmonyville Road & Wells Road in Warwick Township;
- Wednesday, February 15, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Creek Road between Chestnut Tree Road and Lewis Mills Road in West Nantmeal Township; and
- Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road) between Route 340 (Kings Highway) and Dogwood Dell Drive in West Brandywine Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Bridge Road) between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Creek Road in Perkiomen and Skippack townships;
- Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Cowpath Road between Hollow Road and Barndt Road in Salford and Franconia townships;
- Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Trooper Road between Clark Hill Drive and Fieldcrest Avenue in Lower Providence Township; and
- Monday, February 13, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Beidler Road between Saratoga Road and Caley Road in Upper Merion Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
