King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that lane closures are scheduled next week for ramp construction on Interstate 95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange in Northeast Philadelphia under the $93.6 million I-95 Section BR2 project to reconstruct and improve the ramps between the Betsy Ross Bridge, Aramingo Avenue, and I-95.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Sunday, March 26, through Saturday, April 1, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, single lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Bridge Street and Aramingo Avenue interchanges; and
- Tuesday, March 28, through Saturday, April 1, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, single lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Bridge Street and Aramingo Avenue interchanges.
Lane closures on Tuesday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 29, will be in place concurrently on both northbound and southbound I-95. The remainder of the scheduled restrictions will alternate between the northbound and southbound lanes.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
