PECO Utility Improvements Begin Next Week on U.S. 322 in Chester County, Route 132 (Street Road) in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on U.S. 322 (Brandywine Avenue) in Chester County and Route 132 (Street Road) in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, February 20, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on U.S. 322 (Brandywine Avenue) at Jefferson Avenue in Downingtown Borough, Chester County, for pole replacement; and
  • Monday, February 20, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 132 (Street Road) at Mill Creek Drive in Lower Southampton Township, Bucks County, for gas main installation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.  

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
