    Bridge, Roadway Repair Planned at Night Next Week on Interstate 95 South in Delaware County, I-295 East in Bucks County

    King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge and concrete roadway repair will occur at night next week on southbound I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County, and on eastbound I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

    Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

    • ​Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, a single lane closure will be in place from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, followed by a double lane closure from 12:00 AM (midnight) to 5:00 AM, on southbound I-95 approaching the I-476 Interchange for bridge joint repair over Amtrak rail tracks.​
    • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for concrete repair.

    Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
