Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a two-year roadway project continues along Interstate 180 eastbound and westbound in Montoursville Borough, and Loyalsock, Fairfield, and Muncy townships in Lycoming County.

On Monday, July 29, 2024, between the hours of 5:00 AM and 2:00 PM, the contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., and subcontractors will be installing reflective traffic control markings on Interstate 180 westbound. Other work next week will be performed off the shoulders of the roadway and on the on and off ramps at Fairfield Road and the ramp from Broad Street (Route 2014) westbound to Interstate 180 westbound. Motorists can expect daily shoulder closures throughout these locations while work in being completed.

Testing of the newly installed highway lighting will be performed off the shoulders during the hours of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2024, through Thursday, August 1, 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.
