Resurfacing Project Next Week on Route 642 in Derry and Valley Townships, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of single lane conditions next week on Route 642 in Derry and Valley townships, Montour County, for a resurfacing project.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024 through Thursday, May 30, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) paving crew will resurface Route 642 between Welliver Road in Valley Township and Route 2014 (Stine Road) in Derry Township. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed.  Work will be performed during daylight hours, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.
