June 12, 1:30 PM Update. The core drilling project on I-180 in Lycoming County has been cancelled for this week.
Montoursville, PA – A core drilling project will take place this week on Interstate 180 in both directions between the Warrensville Road overpass in Loyalsock Township and the Route 15 north interchange in the City of Williamsport, Lycoming County.
On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, through Thursday, June 15, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be taking core samples along the interstate between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM each day. The left (passing) lane will be closed while work is being performed.
Motorists are urged to be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
