Bridge Maintenance Tomorrow on the Watsontown Bridge in Union and Northumberland Counties

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge maintenance project is scheduled tomorrow on Route 1014 (West Brimmer Avenue / Watsontown River Bridge) in Union and Northumberland Counties.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge and light inspections on the bridge that carries West Brimmer Avenue over the West Branch Susquehanna River between White Deer in Union County and Watsontown in Northumberland County.

Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed and are urged to drive with caution in the area.
