9:20 AM UPDATE: Route 87 is open in Lycoming County.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane shifts today on the Interstate 80 / Route 487 interchange ramps in Scott Township, Columbia County, for core borings.
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, and continuing Monday, February 26, 2024 through Thursday, February 29, 2024, the contractor, TRC Companies, will be taking core borings along the Interstate 80 / Route 487 interchange ramps.
- Interstate 80 westbound Exit 236 A and B (Route 487 / Lightstreet / Bloomsburg)
- Interstate 80 eastbound Exit 236 (Route 287 / Lightstreet / Bloomsburg)
- Interstate 80 westbound onramp from Route 487
- Interstate 80 eastbound on-ramp from Route 487
Motorists should expect lane shifts where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
