9/12/2023 Update (Postponed)Lane Restrictions on I-180 Next Week in Lycoming County for Light Pole Inspections

September 12, 2023 Update: The light pole inspections on Interstate 180 on the bridges over Loyalsock Creek in Loyalsock Township has been postponed and will not occur tomorrow, September 13, 2023. An update will be issued when a new date for the inspections has been scheduled. 


Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction next week on Interstate 180 in both directions on the bridges over Loyalsock Creek in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be inspecting the light poles on the bridges along the interstate between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The right (driving) lane will be closed while work is being performed.

Motorists are urged to be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
