Districtwide Overhead Lighting Repairs Next Week

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that overnight, single-lane restrictions are scheduled to begin Monday, May 20, 9:00 PM, on:

  • Interstate 70 from Exit 1 (Mount Morris) to Exit 48 (Southpointe).
  • Interstate 79 from Exit 1 (West Alexander) to Exit 57 (Hunker/New Stanton).
  • Route 119 at the Routes 21 and 119 interchange. 

Restrictions will be in place nightly, 9:00 PM-5:00 AM, across the district and are anticipated through Friday, May 24, 5:00 AM.

Crews from Kriger Construction with be repairing overhead sign lighting in Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties – an infrastructure investment of $657,000.

Exercise caution during night work and while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
