Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 11-0 and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) are pleased to invite you to attend a public informational meeting being conducted on Tuesday, January 28 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the Washington Pike (Route 3003 A11) Intersection Improvement project. This public meeting will provide preliminary project details, potential property impacts, anticipated traffic control and tentative project schedule. The project team will be available to answer questions and gather feedback.
The meeting will be held:
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Presentation to begin at 5:45 p.m.)
Date: Tuesday, January 28
Location: Upper St. Clair Community and Recreation Center, 1551 Mayview Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241
The purpose of the project is to improve safety and traffic operations at the Boyce Road and Alpine Road intersections with Washington Pike (Route 3003) in South Fayette Township, Allegheny County. The project will be installing new traffic signals at both intersections, widening of Washington Pike/Boyce Road/Alpine Road to accommodate the addition of turn lanes, and full roadway reconstruction is anticipated. The project is expected to be begin construction in 2027.

For those unable to attend, public meeting materials will be posted to the website following the public meeting along with a comment form to gather feedback.
