Fort Duquesne Bridge to North Shore Ramp Restriction Thursday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a lane restriction on the Fort Duquesne Bridge (I-279) ramp to the North Shore in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Thursday, June 22 weather permitting.

A single-lane and shoulder restriction will occur on the ramp that carries northbound Fort Duquesne Bridge traffic to Reedsdale Street via the North Shore (Exit 1B) exit. Work will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. PennDOT crews will conduct gutterline waterproofing work.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
