Work is scheduled to take place next week on the bridge that carries Route 62 over Little Sandy Creek in Polk Borough, Venango County.
Beginning Monday, August 28, 2023, crews from Thomas Construction of Grove City, PA will be paving from approximately 0.4 miles east of the intersection with Polk Cut Off Road (Route 3024) to approximately 0.2 miles west of the intersection with Niles Road.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed in one day. The work is being done in connection with a construction project that was completed last year.
Drivers may encounter a lane restriction with traffic controlled by flaggers and should expect delays during active work hours.
