Interstate 376 Eastbound Reopened in Mercer County

Interstate 376 eastbound in Shenango Township, Mercer County is reopened to through traffic near the Route 318 bridge.

Both lanes of the interstate were closed after the boom of a tractor trailer struck the bridge at approximately 11:00 AM on December 7, causing substantial damage to the structure. The bridge was demolished starting at 7:00 AM today. The debris was removed from the roadway and the interstate was reopened at approximately 8:00 PM today.

Route 318 remains closed at the bridge. A detour is posted using Route 18 and I-376 westbound.
