    Resources for Students & Student Organizations

    • Contact your closest regional food bank through Feeding PA or Hunger-Free PA.
    • Apply for SNAP or other related health and human services through COMPASS.
    • Access community resources by dialing 2-1-1, texting your zip code to 898-211, or searching online at www.pa211.org.
    • Access your campus or local food pantry.
    • Help create or expand a food pantry on your campus.
      • Reference Students Against Hunger's Running a Campus Food Pantry Student Government Toolkit (PDF) for best practices.
    • Create or expand a food recovery program to rescue food that would otherwise be wasted.
      • The following organizations work to recover food across Pennsylvania, some with a specific focus on college campuses:
