King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Chester County
- Sunday, March 19, through Monday, March 20, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 (Exton Bypass) between Constitution Drive and Springdale Drive in West Whiteland Township; and
- Monday, March 20, through Wednesday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled in both directions on Route 896 (Newark Road) between Violet Lane and Oxford Road in New London Township; and
- Saturday, March 25, through Friday, May 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled in both directions on Route 796 (Jennersville Road) between Vineyard Way and Waltman Way in Penn Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
