Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a 12-mile resurfacing project is set to begin next week on Route 220 in Albany and Monroe townships, Bradford County.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will begin paving Route 220 between Churchill Street (Route 4021) at the Sullivan County line and Woodside Road (T-408) in Monroe Township.
Motorists can expect alternating lane closures with flagging while work is being performed. Maintenance forces will provide homeowners access to their property each day. Work will be performed during daylight hours.
Work on this project includes a 1-inch pavement overlay and placement of shoulders along the newly paved roadway, with an expected completion date of Friday, July 19, 2024, weather permitting.
